Why aren't my tipping options appearing at checkout?

I went to my settings and clicked on show tipping options at checkout.  I checked and and only put 2 tipping options, 1% and 3%.  I also checked the box that said show the options to all customers.

When I saved it and went to my page and went to the checkout, it is only giving me the option of adding a custom tip and not the tipping options.  

I am using the Brooklyn theme but I only want them to see the tipping options and not a custom tip box.

Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry you are having trouble with your tipping option in your checkout. I am happy to look into this for you!

I will need a bit more information before I can dig deeper into this. Would you be able to send me your URL so I can test this on my end? It could take a little time for the option to show on your checkout, but those two tipping options of 1% and 3% should show. Could you also provide a screenshot of your settings where you have selected these two options? That would be very helpful.

Can you share your URL with me so I can test this on my end? If you have saved those preset tipping options, it should show in your checkout. Once I have tested it on my end, I can provide you with the next best steps.

Yes, that is exactly how we would like and expect it to look!

Do you have any idea why I might have seen something differently when testing myself? I simply opened my store in a new tab of my browser, added items to the cart, and went through the checkout flow. Is there a better way to get the actual customer point of view?

And, can we make customizations to the text in that tip box?

Thank you for your reply! I am happy it's showing correctly on my end. 

You may need to try on a new device or browser or clear your cache/cookies/browser data. Sometimes the internet connection will keep pulling the same information, and it just needs a reset to get a new connection. This should allow you to see the same view I see. You can always preview your theme by clicking the little eye icon beside the online store in your admin. 

To change the text in your checkout, you must go to your admin > theme > select your theme, click the three dots beside customize, and then click edit default theme content. You should be able to choose checkout and find where the tipping information is and change it in the box below.
