Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
My Shopify Store has been having some very mild amounts of success lately which is so exciting! However, some of the orders that are going through aren't charging shipping or taxes. I've checked the product page on the products and they have marked the "Charge tax on this product" checkbox as well as the weight is input to calculate shipping. Any advice would be much appreciated, I really don't know what to do. I don't want to call the customer and ask them to pay for shipping and tax separately, however I've got to stop losing money by paying for it myself.
Thank you!!

Hi there, @JolBurgan!
I first just want to say congratulations on the success of your store, this is such an exciting time as an entrepreneur! I wish you all the continued success 🙂
I definitely want to help you out with this. For your tax issue, you will want to ensure that you're collecting taxes in the regions that you are required to. You will do this in your admin by navigating to Settings > Taxes and duties. You'll then want to select the country you need to collect taxes in, and enter in your tax ID for the region(s). You can also set up any applicable tax overrides. Check out our help document for more information on how to enable this. Additionally, if you're located in the US and you'd like some help with setting up taxes on your store, you can hire a Shopify Expert who specializes in US sales tax! Check out this link to read more and browse the available experts.
For your shipping issue, we would have to do a bit more digging. Would you mind sharing a screenshot with me of your shipping rates (by going to Settings > Shipping and delivery > Manage rates)? It would look something like this:
If you'd like to read more about how to set up shipping rates, feel free to check out our help document!
I look forward to helping you out further, and please let me know if there's anything I missed here.
