Why can't any address be shipped to on my website?

I am doing a trial run on my website to find any kinks before my launch date next month. There are 2 issues I have come across. 

1. It is telling me that the address I put in cannot be shipped to. It doesn't matter what address I input, it still gives me that message. 

2. When I am changing my shipping rates, I get a message stating that my shipping speed will not be shown because of an app that doesn't support that information. I have no idea what app I am using that would change this.

Hi, @bunessa11.

 

Thanks for posting today. Shipping can be tricky! It is difficult to provide a perfect answer without viewing your actual setup, so if you could provide a screenshot of your rates for a test product that would be great. 

 

This issue happens when the rates you have created do not apply to the product in the cart. If you have price, or weight based shipping, this can occur if there is a gap in the rates. For example if you create a flat rate for orders between 1-2 lbs, but you have an order that falls just below 1 lb, there is no applicable rate.

 

Another common issue, is if you are using different fulfillment locations, or apps, you need to make sure you are setting rates for those locations. For example, if you use a dropshipping app for your products such as Spocket, but you only have rates for your warehouse/office location, you will see that error. 

 

In regards to your second issue of the shipping speed, this can happen if you use a third party fulfillment app, again such as Spocket, or print-on-demand. These apps generally do not provide shipping speed. However, this again would depend on your set up. 

 

If you can provide the screenshots requested I can get to the bottom of it for you! When providing the screenshots please make sure to block out any store sensitive information.

Thank you for replying Skye. I have attached a file so that you can see what I am dealing with. Also I am just noticing that when I try to add a product to my cart, it doesn't add. Is there something I need to do to activate the Add to Cart?

Please disregard the comment I made in regards to adding an item to my cart. I figured out what it was. I still need help in the other areas. Thanks

Hello again Skye. I have figured out how to get my Add to Cart button to work. Also that seems to have fixed my issue with the shipping method. I do however, still need help on showing the shipping speed. Thanks

Hi, @bunessa11.

 

I'm glad you got the "add to cart" and shipping rates to populate! It sounds like you have an app installed that is causing the issue. For the time being, you can adjust your rate title to include the speed. For example: "Standard (5-8 days)."

 

It does sound like you have an app interfering however. Would you be able to provide a list of the apps you are using? If you don't feel comfortable, please reach out to one of our live advisors who can look directly at your admin and provide live support.

 

To do this, visit our Help Center and log in to your account to create a support request through live chat, email, or callback. Once you have logged in to your account, type your request in 'Ask about a topic', scroll down to 'Get Support', and then click 'Continue.'
