Why can't I add a credit card payment method to my account?

Hi! I am creating an Shopify account and to add payment method to start my plan I’m unable to add payment via card I don’t know why but I am unable to add details.I clicked on the card information button but still problem is same.

help would be appreciated

I'd love to help you with your concern. In order for me to do so, I need to gather additional context so I have a better understanding of the issue. What happens when you attempt to add your payment method and choose a plan? Is there an error message that prevents you from doing so?

Please have a look why there’s a lock icon on card number box.

Thank you for your response. I'm helping Summer out today and I'm happy to share some context with you. 

 

The lock symbol is always shown when you add a payment method to your account. It is not an error message, but rather it means your credit card information is stored securely on Shopify. You can see here that I'm able to enter in a credit card number, even though the lock icon is shown:

You should be able to enter in your payment information without any issue, but let me know if you're still having trouble.
