Hi there, @sahil9!

Thank you for your post, I'm happy to help.

If you recently enabled two-factor authentication and submitted your verification documents, it can take some time for your Shopify Payments account to be enabled, as our team needs to review the information. If it has been 3 business days and there isn't an update on the status of your Shopify Payments account, feel free to get in touch with our live support team through the Help Center. We're available 24/7 via live chat, email, and callback, and we can definitely review your account.

By the way, it's so exciting to hear you've started a new store. If you'd like me to take a look over it and share any feedback I have, just share your URL with me here! I'd be happy to review it.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi, @sahil9!

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I reviewed your store and it looks great so far! Amazing job. Here are some suggestions to improve it further.

Custom domain

I see you're still using the .myshopify.com domain that comes with your Shopify account. While this free option is great when you're getting started, a custom domain can help you build trust in your online store. The price of custom domains typically start at $14 USD per year, so it's an affordable way to enhance your brand. Check out this help document which has some more information on adding a domain to your store!

Contact

I see that the contact links on your store lead to maito:[email protected]. While it's definitely important to offer your customers a way to contact you, I recommend creating a contact page rather than using an email link. The benefit of this is it keeps visitors on your store, rather than having them leave the store and be redirected to their email. You can read more about how to create a contact us page in this help document

About Us

I noticed you don't have an About Us page yet. About Us pages are a fantastic way to help your customers get to know your story and bond with your brand. I personally love to shop at stores that have a great story behind them. It can also help new visitors trust your site more! I recommend checking out our YouTube video all about how to write the perfect About Us page.

I hope this helps! Best of luck with your store, and feel free to get in touch if you have any questions along the way.

It sounds frustrating that you're experiencing difficulties with setting up Shopify Payments for your new store despite completing all verifications and enabling two-step authentication. If you haven't received any communication from Shopify after submitting your address proofs, here are a few steps you can take:

  1. Check Spam/Junk Folder: Sometimes emails from automated systems can end up in these folders. Ensure you've checked thoroughly.

  2. Contact Shopify Support: Reach out directly to Shopify's support team through their help center or contact page. They can provide specific guidance and insights into your account status and any necessary steps to enable Shopify Payments.

  3. Verify Email Settings: Double-check that the email address associated with your Shopify account is correct and active. You can update this in your Shopify account settings if needed.

  4. Documentation Review: Review the address proofs you submitted to ensure they meet Shopify's requirements. Sometimes, minor discrepancies can cause delays.

By following these steps and contacting Shopify support directly, you should be able to resolve the issue and get Shopify Payments set up for your store smoothly. Good luck, and I hope this gets resolved quickly for you!
