To gather a bit more insight here, could you advise if you're unable to see PayPal Express Checkout within your Shopify admin, Settings > Payments section?
Shopify will create a PayPal Express Checkout account using the email address you used to sign into your store. If you've already created a PayPal account with that email address, then you'll receive payments from orders made with PayPal right away.

There may be a few possibilities why you're not able to see PayPal Express Checkout as an option in your Payments section.
You may be based in a country/region where PayPal is not supported. You can use our Online Payment Gateway resource to search by country/region to see which payment providers are available to you.
Here are some additional reasons why PayPal may not be visible in this section:
You haven't set up a PayPal account. In order to use PayPal as a payment method for your store, you need to have a PayPal account. If you haven't set up an account yet, you won't be able to find PayPal as an option.
You have a region-specific PayPal account. PayPal may not be available in all regions or countries. If you have a region-specific PayPal account, it may not be available in your store's region.
