Why can't I find PayPal express checkout in my payment options?

Hello, i wanted to share my problem with paypal express checkout.

So i am a new user to shopify and i want to add paypal as an option for payment but when i go settings>payments i don't see paypal as an option anywhere.

While third-party gateway integrations including PayPal are supported by their providers, I'd like to check out what we can do from here in Shopify ourselves. 

The availability and specific version of PayPal offered would vary depending on where in the world your store is based. 

If you can confirm in which country your store is located, I can share a list of payment gateway providers available for use there.

You mentioned that you're new to Shopify, can you tell me a bit more about what you're selling and what you're working on at the moment?
