Why can't I see the refund for my order in my bank account?

I'm trying to figure out where my refund is for an order that I purchased. The refund was issued from the merchant which then releases of refund to Shopify and I received the notice from Shopify. The refund in the amount of $25.88 was processed but I'm still not seeing any refund amount into any of my bank accounts so I called the banks and they did not have any transactions or pending transactions from anyone for a refund.

It can typically take 5-10 business days before you see the funds back in your bank account (or credit card). If the refund was issued recently (last day or two), then you probably just need to wait a bit longer.
