I have looked at all of the responses related to this question and I'm still having the same issue. When someone tries to check out, it says that shipping isn't available. My shipping zone covers Georgia, I have the weight of my book the same under products as it is under shipping. This only happens with the Shop app so maybe that's it? I don't know but I can't figure out how to fi

Hey @DrChantrise

Curious based on the pictures you added, what is the weight of your total cart you are attempting to ship? This was not included, so I am unaware of your total cart weight.

Your rate table is based on weight but for 1lb only. I am not seeing any rates for when the cart is above 1lbs.

The error you are receiving from Shopify is a generic error that applies to all errors, no matter why the rate fails. This can be changed in the Shopify Themes, but again, it is one error message for all.

Looking forward to your reply.

Thanks,

Hi. The product is 1 pound. It’s a book. Perhaps I should add additional rates of different weights? But most people on purchase one book at a time.

I would add different weights. Shopify does all weight in Grams. So it will convert 1lb to Grams, and back (it's their default weight measurement) so the conversion will not always be exact to the starting weight, and even be to the 3rd decimal. If the book after converting from pounds to grams, and back to pounds makes the book weigh in at 1.001lbs, with your current weight table, it would fail. After adding another weight range, attempt to checkout again and see if you can get rates.

Thanks,

Hello @DrChantrise,

Make sure there's a gap between weight ranges, like 0-1 lbs, 1-2 lbs. Also, check if you set up the default box weight.
