Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi,
A particular customer had placed an order wherein their payment status was failed but then the order was placed.
In this case, shopify shouldn't have placed the order, as the payment for the particular failed. Now we don't know if this is the first time this has happened or this has happened before.
Please help.

You can reach out to our live support by logging into your online store using the Contact Us page. This will allow us to securely verify you as the store owner.
Once you successfully login, or select the option to Continue without logging in - you will be directed to the Help Center. Select the topic that you would like assistance with to locate the options to Get Support and speak with an Advisor about the order you have received.
