Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
My customer payed through paypal while I was still setting up my paypal business bank account, so I couldn’t receive payment yet and so I saw an option that said “collect payment” and I clicked on that and the options were either “mark as paid” or “visa/credit card” so I clicked the credit card and I put my card details in and it charged my credit card the money I was supposed to receive as payment. The status then said “paid” but it paid for my customers purchase with my credit card money… Why was I charged??
The Visa/credit card option is meant for your customer's details. You paid for their order for them.
You should be able to refund it to yourself though?
Hey, @ReelCouture.
Thanks for reaching out and bringing this to our attention.
It sounds like you've entered your own credit card on a customer's pending order. However, as suggested by @JayAdra, you should be able to refund the order and get your money back. If you need help with this, then we've got a step-by-step guide right over here: Refunding orders.
If you have any other questions on this topic, then don't hesitate to let us know.
