Why did my ACH transfer fail and can I use my Shopify balance for AliExpress orders?

Hello,

I got my first payout paid but it was only in Shopify balance, when I asked about that in this platform I found out that I needed to change my payout account from Shopify balance to my account. And I did it, but after I transferred manually the amount in my account, I got this message 

ACH transfer to A... D... returned

A... D... (Bank 4 last digit number) | Received failure | Shopify

Why did I get this message? And also can I use my Shopify balance to pay my AliExpress order?

With regards to this, we would need more information and see the back end of this transaction so it is best to reach out to our Live Support so they can investigate this further for you. Generally speaking however, it's best to also inquire with your bank as to why the transfer was not accepted so we are all on the same page. Having this information will also help our support agents in figuring out where the issue lies.

As for paying your Ali Express order, you are more than welcome to use your Shopify Balance for these expenses. These funds are your one-stop-shop within the Shopify admin where you can get a clear view of cash flow, pay bills, track expenses, and make decisions about the future of your business.
