Why did my customer get charged three times for one order?

Hello, I just had a customer pay for their order. I received a call from them stating that their card was charged 3 seperate times. 2 charges for the same amounts of $433, and 1 charge for $400. Can anyone help me with why this occured and what my next steps should be? Thank you.
