Why does a refunded item remain as unfulfilled?

Why does a refunded item that was never fulfilled stay in an unfulfilled status? How do we change that so that it doesn’t look like we have something to fulfill?

You could unarchive the order then fulfill the item. If that item was connected to a 3rd party marketplace, change the location of the fulfillment order to a location you control, and mark fulfilled.
