Why does my account number show as incorrect when it's not?

In order to pinpoint how I may be able to best assist you here, I have a few questions I would like to ask: 

 

  • Where are you seeing that you're providing the incorrect account number?
  • Are you currently trying to set up 'Shopify Payments' within your store? 
  • If possible, can you provide a screenshot of just the error message you're seeing regarding your account number? 

Once I have that requested information, I should be able to point you in the direction of a solution for the problem you're encountering. I'll keep my eyes peeled for your reply!

I accidently entered the wrong birthday on shoplifty payments I figured out the acc number but now i can not figure out how to go back and change my information

Thanks for your reply! I'm happy to hear you managed to get the account number situation sorted out!

 

When it comes to changing your birthday, and other personal information that you've provided for Shopify Payments, you won't be able to change that manually within your Shopify Admin. Instead, you will need to reach out to our Support Team so they can authenticate you and your account and then speak to our Operations Team to have the requested information  changed to the desired info.

Login to your account on that page, type something into the search bar that appears, and scroll to the bottom of the page and click the 'contact us' button that appears. Then, select your desired communication method to get in touch with our Team, and they'll help you get this situation resolved.
