Why does my Apple Pay button say 'Payment not complete'?

When testing the newly added Apple Pay button on my store, the prompt comes up with my information as normal. However, the bottom box then says "Payment not complete" and the apple pay window goes away. Has anyone experienced this?

I'd be glad to support you with this today. It sounds as though Apple Pay may not have been successfully set-up, or there's an issue with the credentials used in the back-end. 

 

To help us gain a clearer picture, please share a screenshot with me of your experience so I can help you troubleshoot next steps and further identify the issue. If you are able to capture a screen recording of your attempt, that would be even better.

 

Furthermore, I did find a similar thread that has some suggestions on how to resolve this. Make sure to check it out at the following link and try the recommendations.

Hello,

 

Success!

 

I reviewed the link you mentioned did both things simultaneously. I first unchecked Apple Pay as an option and "Saved". Then, I also went to Settings>Checkout and set "Shipping address phone number" to optional and "Saved". 

 

After this, I went back to Settings>Payment and checked the Apple Pay option and "Saved".

 

I believe the change of making the phone number optional is what fixed it for me but either way, I'm happy it's working now!

Hi their i am facing problems while tensting payment on my shopify account

Please check out this related thread in regards to address validation errors with Apple Pay. It does appear to be a device error/setting that could be causing this, but there's also further troubleshooting steps listed there.
