Why does my checkout only show United States as delivery option?

Hi, I have got a problem with the checkout. I created a shipping zone which includes USA, Australia, most of the countries in Europe etc. When I reach the checkout when I want to select country for delivery it appears only United States, no other option. Please tell me what to do!

Hi @Georgi35,

 

It could be that you haven't activated the Internation Market. Please check to see if you have enabled the international market yet:

  • From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Markets.
  • Click on Manage next to the International section

I can see you are having some issues with countries not appearing as an option in the checkout - I'd be happy to help you work through this here!

 

I understand you have created a shipping zone which includes the USA, Australia and Europe. Are they all in the same zone, with the same shipping rates being applied to all of those locations within the zone? If you wanted to customize your rates further, putting each region in it's own zone would allow you to have various shipping rates for each region you ship to.

 

Do you have any weight or price conditions added to your shipping rates? If so, when you are testing the checkout, the products you have in your cart will affect the shipping options in the checkout, so it's worth double checking that your order fits within the specified conditions.

 

As @AvadaCommerce has kindly mentioned, another thing to check is that you have enabled this market in the Settings > Markets section of your admin. When you navigate to that section of your admin, you should see a market there called International. Click on Manage next to that market, and ensure it is enabled (you will see a green active icon). The international market is not active by default, so customers in those countries can’t check out until you activate the market. We have some more details about managing markets here.
