Why does my new POS Go dock terminal keep disconnecting?

I just got the new pos go dock to use as a terminal and it seems to have the same issue of the other readers which is that is disconnects frequently or when for long periods of time. 
One of my employees is not good with technology, so walking her through this reconnecting process over the phone is nearly impossible. 
I just want a card reader that doesn’t disconnect randomly. The receipt printer never has an issue, why can’t it be like the printer????

Have you tried using with an Ethernet cable instead of wifi? Not sure if that will improve reliability.
