Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
I recently had a store closed due to a missed monthly payment I’ve reached out and gotten feedback from the Risk Operations Team, they’ve told me the store cannot be reopened which I’m fine with but now when I create a store and fill in payment information the store is automatically closed. Has anyone ever had this issue or have any advice
Based on your description, it seems that you are on some sort of blacklist. If there is an error and there is only one missed payment, I believe that contacting Shopify Customer Support would quickly fix this issue.
I appreciate the quick response I was thinking something similar but another question is do you think it’s only the payment method that had been blacklisted because as soon as I submit the payment method it doesn’t accept it and when I close out that pop up then it automatically closes the shop
I can't have an official reason, but if I were to build a blacklist system, the name or the card number should be enough to consider a reliable lead to block a specific person/institution.
This is just an idea, I'm not familiar or aware of any blacklist system/s that might be implemented by Shopify.
If the payment method is accepted/confirmed by Shopify, I don't see any reason that it would be blacklisted as a whole.
If I were you, I would contact Customer Support to ask for a resolution - I'm sure that they would be eager to respond to your inquiry.
Cheers!

this is the response I keep receiving from Shopify it doesn’t answer the question of why I cannot open stores
Thanks for that added information, @seanfondrk.
Were you able to respond to this direct message from the Risk team? I would respond to this message to explain that you are currently trying to open a new store separate from this older one but are having trouble doing so.
Moreover, you can also reach out to our live support team using your new store credentials to also inquire on the errors you are facing on your end.
