When I go to create the account it doesn't show like this and it takes 03 days for my payout to arrive. Although I use Shopify Balance.. But as seen in this photo Shopify Balance Payment Fast is said to be received within next day.😢I previously created an account and as seen in this photo I got the shopify balance payout in 01 day but now when I go to create an account it takes 03 days from the shopify balance for a payout
Can anyone explain what is the reason for this
Hi @lakruwan,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community. I'd be happy to provide some guidance on this, to ensure it gets resolved.
While you can receive Shopify Payments earnings in as little as one business day, there are circumstances where this may vary. For example, if the payout is created during the weekend or a bank holidays (i.e Labour day), will be deposited on the next business day. If you are experiencing troubles with your payouts, please feel fee to connect with us directly. This will allow our support team to investigate further, as we wouldn't have access to any account details through the Community. They will be able to provide insight on how to ensure this gets resolved.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Why does my balance not even say pending? My payouts failed for my bank account randomly so it’s been 42 days without money. But it says paid!
Same issue here. 3-5 days. What is the point of the Shopify Balance Account / Card if it’s going to take the same amount of time as it would directly to my business bank account? Definitely not 1 business day even if it’s in the middle of week or weekend. Example Test Payments when we received our POS Card Reader from Shopify
Test Payment Friday Morning says pending for the Following Thursday
Test Payment Sunday Evening says pending for the Following Friday
3-5 business days - Not One
Must say this is one of the reasons (besides streamlining ecomm and POS together. But the icing was this account option to access funds faster if wanted.
We also looked at “another” provider that it is available INSTANTLY on the business debit card .. but their ecomm platform is just not what we were looking for. But that one feature of instant availability via POS or Invoice or online sale is definitely a temptation to use them.
love Shopify. Hopefully this gets sorted out and improved before we fully integrate across our business in December.
It's really annoying especially when payment is needed to fulfill an order. I like that Shopify has more functionality but it's making me want to go back to Square. All payments are instantly available in my square account, no subscription is required, and the seller fees are lower. The inability to access funds quickly kinda negates all the other benefits to me. I can't afford to front 40 orders a day just to get them into production then 7 days to be paid back, if not longer. Shopify definitely is not small shop/soloprenuer friendly
I’m seeing the same thing. I’ve just signed up so I’m hoping maybe that’s the issue but the time between customer payment and landing in my Chase account was faster than this.
