Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi,
I'm using Shopify and Icount for payments.
Shopify doesn't take transaction fees,
Why is that?
Thank you!
Hi there, @feetltd!
Welcome to the Community! Definitely a great place to gather some input regarding anything about the platform!
With regards to your inquiry, each plan has its own transaction fee rate for using a third-party payment provider but when using Shopify Payments there are no transaction fees on orders placed through Shopify Payments, PayPal or manual payments. Merchants who have Shopify Payments enabled only pay the credit card processing rates advertised on our pricing pages, and not the transaction fees.
Shopify Payments is the simplest way to accept payments online. It eliminates the hassle of setting up a merchant account with a third-party payment provider, and then entering your account credentials in Shopify. Because Shopify Payments is fully integrated with your store, you can view your payouts directly in the Shopify admin. One of the many reasons, we encourage merchants who are eligible to utilize this gateway.
How has your experience been with Shopify Payments? I look forward to hearing more from you.

Thanks for the added information, Sean.
To view your third party gateway transaction fees, please refer to this help document as well as the screenshot below:
The help document linked above should provide more information about these specific fees as well. Let me know how this works out for you.

Hi There,
same issue. Shopify Payments retains commission from the card transactions.
We can download the CSV file, but that file is useless for financial duty.
We need a proper receipt for the total commission taken to add that cost to our bill list.
I understand that's not your money but you're still retaining the commission so you should generate a receipt for that.
Then the bank will provide you a receipt too.
That's a very important financial key. We have 2023 tax declaration coming and we don't have any documents attesting all the commissions taken in all year.
Please let me know it's very urgent.
BR,
Melissa
