Why has the express checkout PayPal button disappeared from my online store?

Hello, guys!

The "express checkout pay pal button" has disappeared from my online store.

I can't figure out how to return it.. Could you help me with it?

In order to better understand this issue, we would need some additional context. Could you please provide us with more information such as when it was first brought to your attention, if you are experiencing it on your end only, or if customers have contacted you about this issue?

If customers have reported this, what regions the affected customers are from, what devices they are experiencing this issue on, and what browsers they have experienced this issue on?

 

Troubleshooting steps

1. Make sure that your PayPal account is properly connected and that the Express Checkout option is enabled in your Shopify payment settings. Go to "Settings" and then "Payments" in your Shopify admin and check the settings for PayPal there.

 

2. If your payment settings are properly configured, check your theme settings to make sure that the PayPal button is enabled. Go to "Online Store" and then "Themes" in your Shopify admin, and click on "Customize".  In the drop-down menu select ''Products'' and then ''Product Pages" and click on the box which says ''Show dynamic checkout button'' on the left hand side panel.

 

3. Clear your browser cache and cookies to ensure that you're seeing the most up-to-date version of your store. Sometimes, a cached version of your store can cause issues with buttons and other features. Learn more about this here in our help center. 

As mentioned by @saim007, feel free to share you store's URL so that we can check this on our side. By following these steps, you can hopefully resolve the issue and get your PayPal button back on your Shopify store but let me know if none of those steps work!
