Why hasn't my order been confirmed after payment on FIRSTKARTBAG?

I had placed an order & paid on 20th March 2022. The seller VISHAL VAGHJI AAHIR received the payment via PayU but has not confirmed the order or the shipping. The shop name is FIRSTKARTBAG. Is this a hoax ? Does Shopify encourage such activities? Or is Shopify encouraging a bunch of theives under their label ? How do I either get my order fulfilled or money returned ? @FIRSTKARTBAG @VISHALVAGHJIAAHIR

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. While Shopify provides the platform for merchants to build their online businesses, we don't take part in the daily running of the stores including shipping, order fulfillment etc. However, we can provide you with the next best steps from here.

 

Have you already tried contacting the store via email or social media platforms? Is there a shipping timeline available on the website?

 

If you feel the merchant has breached our Acceptable Use Policy, you can report the store via this link and our legal team will be able to take a look into the store and take the necessary actions!

*My issue is not resolved yet. *

The Store itself has disappeared. Do you harbour fraudsters on your website
?

The shops name is *Firstkartbag.shopify*

*No confirmation sent by the vendor.*
*No update on my order.*
*The shop seems to have disappeared from shopify and instagram !*

We understand the situation at hand and would like to point out that we do not condone fraudulent activities.

 

Throughout the process of launching an online stores, a lot of stores can meet our requirements that allow sales but as a store progresses there may be some cases where they breach our Acceptable Use Policy. In this case, it is quite clear that you have not received a confirmation email and the website is offline, so my best recommendation from here, in order for the store to be investigated ASAP is to fill out the report form given previously or contact our Support Team who can escalate this right away.

 

If you are looking to get a refund, we advise contacting your bank and issuing a charge-back to receive these funds back in your account.

Hey..Same thing happened with me..after the payment was done , the store was disappeared from site and instagram.  And there is no way we can contact them or raise a complaint..this site is a complete fraud

... please don't buy anything from this site

This is really irresponsible and reflects badly on shopify.

How can they have such vendors on their site or promote such activities ?

And they do not have a reply for customers too ! They just keep sending you
mails with objective situations which you can tick off !

Very unhelpful & unprofessional !

Shopify does not manage the stores. They simply provide the platform and that is it. Anyone can create a shopify store and scam people, the same way anyone can create a facebook or instagram and scam people. If the site is reported enough, they'll probably take action and remove the store, but you can't expect shopify to resolve customer/vendor disputes. This isn't ebay.
