Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
I think I am user number million who raised this problem, Apple Pay is not working with the payment provider stripe, it is not allowing users to checkout showing an invalid address, I've been trying to solve the problem for months and there has been no progress even the support team don't have any idea about that. The solution is simple: Express checkout should be removed and let users enter their shipping details, then show Apple pay for just paying and not allow Apple to use the default address. Please Shopify technical team should take action on this.
Hi there, @Ribal!
Thanks for reaching out here in the Shopify Community and sorry to hear you're having a hard time with this third-party gateway's integration with Apple Pay.
Gateway integrations like this are created and maintained by the gateway providers themselves, rather than by us here at Shopify.
This means in order to get support or give feedback you would need to be working with the provider themselves, as we would not be able to provide support for this from here ourselves.
Where available, you can use Apple Pay via Shopify Payments which we would be able to support.
My advice would be to reach out to your payment gateway provider again to share your issue and give them feedback on their integration so you can request they take action on this.
If you'd like to look into alternative gateway providers where you are, feel free to share which country your store is based in so we can share the list of options there.
All the best!

This is not a hard time with the third-party gateway integration, this is a hard time with Shopify wrong input for the addresses in the UAE. So many people raised tickets for this and yet there is no change from Shopify. Input fields are wrong in Shopify and it causes an error on Apple Pay.
The solution is simple: fix your address requirements. Problem is caused by "Area" field. It is actually linked to the "Emirate" field in Shopify. You are asking same thing twice from the customers by asking "City" and "Emirate" during checkout and you linked your "Emirate (dropdown)" to the "Area" field of ApplePay. Unless you write one of the 7 Emirates in Area field on ApplePay, you cannot make any payments. This is the problem. It is not third-party, it is Shopify!
Hey did you find a solution to this? Unable to use Apple Pay because of this 😞
Hi Don, I really don't know what to say anymore, it has been months and the problem is still there. I reached to apple and stripe both told me to refer to shopify since they can't do nothing about the problem and it is from shopify. Most of the users in UAE use apply pay as a primary payment method! My clients lost thousands of sales! More than 500 messages on @Shopify community and still no action taken! Verydisappointing from a company like shopify
Hello, I have the exact same problem. and strip and bank said that the issue is from shopify, I spent hours with customer support and still there where not able to solve the issue. its simple just do something with the shipping address, shopify not familiar with the areas of dubai city it self and the other 7 emirates, so its best to just keep it simple, or get to add all the areas of the UAE to your coding. Thank you
Hi, everytime I try to pay via apple pay I get that shipping address doesnt match. so all i did I removed my area which is jumeirah to Dubai and city Dubai, then it worked. But customers dont know that. so they get frustrated and dont complete the payments.
Hi, I have the exact same problem with my clients, even me was testing it, and I had to keep the area and city as Dubai Dubai so I can make the payment. so did your idea worked but disabling the express checkout. and then use apple pay at the end? or still same thing?
