I’m am beyond furious . My account was placed in a hold to receive funds for what’s being called a standard review that has already taken 3 days . My funds all frozen . No reason , no communication past a stupid banner . Does Shopify not realizing this is devastating for a new business ? I can’t even get legit answers , all I can be told is I have to wait . Wait as the business I am trying to go … slowly dies as Shopify holds my funds . This is complete garbage .

I am experiencing the same thing. Currently after waiting for almost 3 weeks to have my funds released. Have you heard back from them yet?

Yes they finally released it . I pitched the biggest fit . I’m now in this pilot program to get funds faster . But they put another hold on my account and said Crystal mystery boxes ( $50 -$100 in crystals matching crystals to you based in what you need ) is a form of gambling … so they made me take it down . How is pay $50 get $50 gambling ? Basically customers tell me if they are depressed have anxiety or like raw material and I put that amount in a box and ship to them . So they held my funds another week for that . Because I immediately took it down but it takes time for them to review . Frustrating .

I do not understand why they can’t just send an email about a problem giving owners a chance to fix a problem instead of going right to our lifeline
