Why is my checkout asking to check a non-existent box?

My checkout says to check the box. There is no box. Why is it doing that?  Thanks in advance!

I didn't fix it! I think it is supposed to be the terms and conditions box,but it isn't visible.

I'm happy to continue looking into this with you! I've done a quick test from my end, and I'm able to see that 'terms and conditions box' as seen here on my desktop

 

However, when I open the checkout on a mobile device, I get the same message that you shared in the screenshot above ('please select the checkbox').

 

It's likely that either this has been coded into your theme or placed there using an app, is this the case? Are you hoping to have it remain as a part of your checkout? Finally, may I ask which theme you are using? Based on your response, there will be a couple of different options for you going forward.
