Why is my first sale payout status still pending after 7 business days?

I've been waiting for my first sale on my store to be deposited into my bank account. It's been more then 7 business days. I'm wondering if I'm being impatient or is there something wrong?

Thanks for reaching out about this. 

It's important to note that it can take a few business days for a payout to be deposited. You are able to see the payout schedule directly from your settings to know when to expect the funds.

If you head to Settings > Payments > View Payouts, you will be able to see the status of the payout from there. Can you let me know what you see there?

Sorry for responding late. After receiving your response to my question I figured ill wait a bit longer to ensure that the payout had sufficient time to process. Since then nothing has changed and the payout status is still pending.

So yes the payout status is still pending.

I see. If you are not seeing any error messages or banners in your Shopify admin that could indicate why there's a delay with the payout, you'll need to contact our support advisors. I am unable to access your store details publicly. Simply engage with the Virtual Chat Assistant on the right hand side of the screen and ask to speak with an advisor until it brings you to the support page. Select "Chat" to speak with an advisor directly.
