why is my new product not showing in the general shipping profile

I added a new product today that was synced over from Printful. After making the product active and testing it in the cart of the live site, I noticed that there was a shipping fee attached (my store offers free shipping to this region). This prompted me to check the general shipping profile to verify that the product was automatically added as suggested by Shopify.  But after going through the list of products several times, I realised that it just wasn't there.  Added to which, there is no option to manually add it.

 Two things.

1. I don't have another shipping profile with products

2. Because of the nature of the product (dropshipping) a 'requires shipping' option is not available.  Every other product in my store is from Printful so I'm not sure what the problem could be. 

 

Any assistance given would be greatly appreciated
