Why is my online store's payout status still pending?

I've recently launched my store and have had a number of orders (my first order on the 15th of January). However, when I click "view payouts" it still suggests that my payout status is pending. I've read that it takes a few business days, but it has definitely been longer than that. Is there any particular reason for this or is this completely normal?

Pending transactions typically refer to sales that have been made but have not yet been transferred to your bank account through a Shopify Payments Payout. There can be various reasons for payouts to be pending. However, if you haven't received your payout for over a while, there may be another issue. More information can be found here.


What is your current pay period, for example is it each business day? You can check out the pay periods by following this link. 


I suggest checking the Settings > Payments section in your store admin to see if there are any error messages or notifications related to the pending payouts. This might provide insights into the delay. Additionally, ensure that the bank account details provided for the payout are accurate by double-checking the account number you have listed.
