Why is my payment on hold after verification on my new store?

Hello,

I just have finished my Shopify store and they are telling me that my payments on hold!! They asked me for verification and I already send them, and they didn’t accept because the information couldn’t be verified!!! I haven’t even started selling on it! Could you please look at this issue.thank you

Thank you for posting to the forums! I hope your day is going well regardless of this situation.

 

When you open a Shopify account, it is standard for our banking partners to request verifcation. Generally speaking, you can still accept orders and payments, however cannot receive your payouts until you are verified. 

 

When uploading your documents, make sure that nothing is cropped out, and the files are in full colour. This will prevent them from being automatically rejected. If you run into any issues uploading the required documentation our live advisors can absolutely help you out.

 

Please visit our Help Center and log in to your account to create a support request through live chat, email, or callback. Once you have logged in to your account, type your request in 'Ask about a topic', scroll down to 'Get Support', and then click 'Continue.'

 

In the meantime, I would love to see how else I can help you with your store while you are waiting for documents to be verified. Can you provide your store's domain? This way I can have a look and provide any necessary feedback.
