Why is my payout on hold since January 5th?

My payouts have been on hold since January 5th, I never received an email explaining why or if any information was needed from me. Now it’s January 10th and still hasn’t received an update or any information as to why this has happened. Someone please help me I have spoken with multiple shopify support staff and NO ONE has helped me. I had to close my website down today because of this issue.

Hi, @cassidy2. I'm happy to share some context about this.

 

Payout holds can happen for a number of reasons. Often, this is just a standard review and you are still able to accept payments during this time. On the other hand, sometimes it's because an action is required on your end. If anything is required from you, you will be emailed or notified directly in your Shopify admin. Since you have not been emailed it's likely you just need to wait for the review to be completed. To be sure about this I recommend speaking with our support team through the Help Center here. They won't have much detailed information to share about this since account holds are handled by a different team, but they would be able to ensure your ticket is with the correct team. If there are any next steps required from you, they should be able to share some information about that with you as well.

Hello Erin it’s been 9 days and no one has reached out to me or explained why I'm experiencing this hold. This has really messed up my business I will be moving to a different e-commerce platform because this is unacceptable.
