Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
So I was trying to buy one of my items to see if I could pay in bitcoin but that didn't show up yet so I must've done something wrong but my question is while I was there I typed in my address for shipping and when I clicked on continue shopping for the other link I think was go to kart I tried both they both came up with address not able to be shipped to. Can you let me know what I'm doing wrong. This is not a PO Box it is my address. I've had plenty of orders in the past and never had this problem I thought maybe this item was no longer being sold so I tried a new one that I just added last week and the same problem occurred.
Hi @officially-sexy,
The message you're seeing at checkout is Shopify's default message whenever there are no shipping methods available for the order. Unfortunately, it could be any number of things that's causing it to happen.
If you're using live rates from a carrier, it's possible that the services you're offering aren't available to the address you're entering. Or, it could be that the package is over-sized and the carrier isn't returning a rate.
Other reasons could be that there is a problem with your 'Shipping and delivery' settings. For example, it could be that the Shipping Zone where your address is located doesn't have a rate assigned to it. If you're using custom Profiles, it could be that the product (or products) you're trying to order aren't assigned to a Profile that has a shipping zone or rates.
If you're using a third-party app, like Intuitive Shipping, for rate calculations, you need to have Shopify's third-party carrier-calculated shipping rates feature enabled on your account. If it isn't enabled, rates from third-party providers won't pass to the checkout page.
Unfortunately, without being able to see your settings, it's hard to identify a specific reason why you're having this issue. If you continue to have trouble finding the cause, I recommend reaching out to Shopify support directly, as they can help you take a closer look at your settings.
Best regards,
Ron
