Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hello I’m trying to put money into my Shopify balance from my savings , but there’s a message that comes up saying the the transaction is blocked and I should try a smaller payment . Which I did went all the way down to 10 cents and the message still popped up . How can this get avoided?

Thanks for reaching out. This is a known issue that we're looking into, and the current workaround is for you to send funds directly from your external bank account's platform to your Balance Account. Feel free to contact our support team through the Help Center so we can investigate your case.

The same thing happened to me too this morning when I was trying to add funds from my savings to my shopify balance. It said the same thing. So I decided to try adding funds from my checking and it went through. I don't know why that's the case when it did usually go through in the past for me. If you find out the reason, let me know here as well.
I’m having the same issue grrrrrrr is there a solution? It won’t let me from my checking account either.

You can log in to your bank account and transfer funds using your Balance account's routing and account numbers. Funds transferred using your Balance account's routing and account numbers might take up to three business days to be available in your Balance account. You can find more details in this help document!

Do you have to wait X days for the accounts to be "setup" or can it be nearly instant once the funds are in the external account and just looking to fund the Balance account?
I'm trying to put funds into the Balance account from my bank, and get this same exact message. But, full transparency, I just added / activated the account about an hour ago.. so assuming it might be a 24-hour thing?
My bank charger $25 wire transfer fee and doesn’t support Shopify bank for the free instant transfer can this issue be resolved another way?
It’s July 16th of 2024 and this issue is still there. We should be able to transfer funds directly in the Shopify Balance App and not from the external account.
