Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi there,
Our Shopify website says a payment attempt was rejected on your store because your PayPal account has been limited.
I look into that how I remove a limitation from my account as advised.
I don’t see any problems in the resolution center, please find attached a screenshot.
Can you help me with this, please? As customers reached out to us that the Paypal link is not working when they want to pay for their orders.
Many thanks,
Vanda

Hi again, @odette1!
Thank you for following up.
Since the issues do not appear in your resolution center, then it is best to reach out to PayPal support. You can do so by heading over to the PayPal Help Center. Once you're there, scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see a section called "Other ways to contact us". You will then be able to select your desired method through chat or call.
Hope this helps! Feel free to update this thread with any updates!

Hi, @odette1!
Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.
This error means that you account has been limited and that you won’t be able to do certain things with your PayPal account. For example, you might not be able to send or withdraw money. Typically, this means that you need to upload certain documents or verify some information with PayPal. You can check out this resource that goes into more detail.
From my experience, this limitation appears as a banner in your Resolution Center. Based on your screenshots, I can see that this is not the case for you. Have you tried checking the bell icon at the top of your Summary page? If not, I'd suggest reaching out directly to PayPal support as they will be able to take a closer look.
While this is still pending, have you thought of enabling a different payment gateway to collect payments?
Kindly reply back to this thread with any questions or updates and we can continue our conversation further!

Hi again, @odette1!
Thank you for following up!
I'm happy to hear that the issue is now solved. I have marked my previous post as the solution so that it's easier for other members to locate the correct steps.
In addition, have you thought about adding another payment gateway to your shop? Doing so allows you to accept different payment methods when a customer is looking to check out. We have a guide on this here, and all you will need to do is select your country or region to see which ones are available to you.
Feel free to ask me any questions as I'd be happy to help!

I’m having the same issue what did they tell you to do?
Hi there, @hxrty!
Thanks for joining this thread.
I understand that you are experiencing a similar issue. I suggest reaching out via the PayPal Help Center to inquire about your specific issue. This is important as your PayPal account can be limited for various reasons, and may require different steps to resolve.
In the meantime, I also suggest setting up additional accelerated checkout buttons on your Shopify checkout. These buttons support Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, and Meta Pay. They'll allow your customers to save time by automatically filling out the payment and shipping information.
Feel free to check out our guide here, and let me know if you have any questions!
