Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hi
I have integrated PayU as an alternate payment method, PayPal is the primary one. The store currency is USD, whereas our company is in India. That means the account linked is in India with INR as currency. Problem I am facing is that during checkout the currency is shown in USD but when the customer clicks to pay, another window of PayU gateway opens, there the same amount is shown but in INR (without conversion). Eg. If the product value during checkout was USD 5.00, the same is shown as INR 5.00 in PayU gateway (while actual value in INR should be much higher as USD to INR conversion is around 74 ! I reached out to PayU, and they told me that this issue is with Shopify. The currency conversion is to be done by Shopify while passing the numeric value from the checkout page to PayU payment gateway. Below are the snapshots for your reference.
