Why is Stripe not listed as a payment provider in Florida?

Hello, I am developing a store in Florida, my client has a stripe account, but when I see the list of payment providers I do not see stripe, does anyone know why?

Luna here from Shopify. Thanks for bringing this to our attention in our Community forums. That’s a great question! I’d be happy to provide you with some clarity.

In the United States, Shopify Payments is the premier gateway on our platform which is Powered by Stripe. Because of this, you will not see Stripe as a payment processing option. If your client decides to use Shopify Payments, there are a host of benefits that would come along with it, such as: 

1. No transaction fees
2. Shop Pay 
3. In house support
4. Financial reports
5. Detailed payout information
6. Automated chargeback handling

For more information on Shopify Payments, check out our FAQ here. May I ask if there is a business-based reason for wanting to use Stripe instead of Shopify Payments? If so, I would be more than happy to continue looking into this for you.
