Why isn't my added FedEx account showing as a shipping option at fulfillment?

ive added my own fedex account for shipping , have done a test and was able to pick my fedex option a t checkout , but went i went to fulfill it was not a shipping option ? or do i just have to do manually at that point ?

If you want to create a FedEx shipping label right from the Shopify order dashboard, you'll need to use an app.

 

The PluginHive FedEx shipping app is a suitable solution for this purpose.

While it's possible to connect your FedEx account to your Shopify store and display live rates at checkout, you cannot use your FedEx account to purchase shipping labels directly within the Shopify admin. We do offer label purchases via Shopify Shipping from a number of different couriers, although this does not include FedEx. These rates are ones negotiated by Shopify and can be purchased when fulfilling an order.

 

As @Mirdas recommended, you can purchase FedEx shipping labels via third-party apps available on the Shopify App Store
