Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hello I am new at this and my frustration is driving me to about give up.
I set my Shopify for store for dropshipping and made a test order to work the process.
I noticed the auto fulfillment option and selected it to ensure all gets done. But it appears that nothing is happening.
I read a bit more and it sounds like the auto fulfillment option is specifically for downloads.
Is that correct, and I need to go back to manual filling the order?
It has been 2 weeks on the first test order, no tracking number or any evidence of anything is happening.
I am using Oberlo. Every video I have looked at says to do different things and none give specifics on auto fulfillment.
There is no way to speak to anyone. Does anyone know what I need to do?
If you're using a 3rd party fulfillment service (sounds like Oberlo here) then you'll want to contact them directly if something isn't working as intended with their app / service.
The auto fulfill option in Shopify will automatically mark orders fulfilled, but if it's connected to a 3rd party fulfillment service it typically sends the request to the fulfillment service, then the fulfillment service fulfills the item + update tracking.
If you apply Shopify + Oberlo dropship from aliexpress, the auto fulfillment settings can be done easily, if you apply 3PL order fulfillment service, they can also help you purchase, ship and sync tracking to shopify automatically without you do anything, I think the currently problem you may confuse is shopify auto fulfillment, it need you have stock inventory in Shopify warehouse, then you can start to sell.
