Why isn't my bank routing number supported for payments?

my account bank routing number is not supported when I try to set up my payments

I appreciate the context that you have shared with us as that is very helpful! In order for a bank account to be eligible - it must be a checking account or current account that can receive transfers and is eligible to receive payouts in the currency that Shopify supports for your country. We have a great article that goes into depth about the Bank account requirements for each location Shopify Payments is available.
 
If you are unable to successfully set up your bank account using the Shopify Payments gateway and claim that it is meeting the requirements. I would suggest that you speak with our live support and the error you are receiving. Since we cannot authenticate you over the Community forums due to the sensitive information that needs to be shared, I am unable to look into the specifics.

first: my account is checking account and its eligible to receive payouts in the currency that Shopify supports in my country  

second: I contact your help center and I did not receive any useful answers

When you navigated to the Help Center - did you happen to speak with our live support, by any chance? Typically, you can chat with the virtual assistant on the Help Center and let it know that you would like to speak with a Support Advisor. This should allow you to speak directly with our live support to have a further look into the error you are receiving.

Thank you for your interest. I have already contacted the support advisor and submitted the complaint and they told me that they will contact me soon

Did you ever get an answer? We're in the same boat. Updating to a new account number at the same bank with the same routing number. It validates the old routing number as part of the account validation step, but rejects the same routing number when adding the new account number. A couple chats with support and still no answers.

I’m having the same issue since my bank changed the routing and account numbers! Contacted support 5 times already and they all said they will escalate the issue with their Shopify Payments staff but no answer yet! It’s been 5 days.. nobody helps with anything even though this is an INTERNAL Shopify issue!

Did you ever receive help for this issue? I having been trying for weeks to figure out what the issue is. My account is eligible to receive payouts in currency supported by Shopify for my country. Everytime I submit a ticket to support, I keep receiving the same list of requirements and guidelines, absolutely nothing that has been useful.

Yes you need to contact support and ask for a real person operator and tell them the issue they will log it and send you an email once they’re done reviewing it so you’ll be able to sort it out with them eventually
