Why isn't my credit card payment option working at checkout?

Hey,
I'm new to shopify and I have a problem. For some reason I can not figure out how to enable credit card payments or it just doesn't work. When I go to my websites checkout page it says:" This store can’t accept payments right now" or it just show the PayPal Express Checkout button when activated. When I put the website in test mode everything works fine. I am trying to use Shopify payment.

Thank you for reaching out! I am sorry you are experiencing some issues with accepting payments on your store.

I will need to gather more information before I can dig deeper into this. Is your Shopify Payments account set up completely and activated? You can find this in your Settings > Payments tab. Can you share your URL with me so I can test it on my end? Once I have a bit more information I will be happy to look into this for you.

I am seeing the same message on my end. I recommend reaching out directly to our Support Team as they will have access to your store-specific information and will be able to get your payments working correctly.
