Why isn't my payment processing correctly on my online store?

I tried to also buy one of my products, however, after i do the payment i get this error :
Your payment details couldn’t be verified. Check your card details and try again.

When i checked my card, the money was withdrown, but not accepted by the vendor ( me, the shop ).
I have Shopify payments enabled currently.
Problem is, the order doesn't even appear in the ORDER or ABBANDONED CARTS

Please help me out, i am losing sales...

Hi @MrSanta,

 

Thank you for reaching out. Can you tell me if you had gotten Shopify Payments working before, or has this been an issue since you enabled the gateway? Were you using a credit card when you tested and if so, with which provider (VISA, Mastercard, etc)?

Hello Victor,

I tried with my personal VISA credit card to make a real purchase on my website.
With the TEST feature in Payments it seemed to work, but with real card it didn't work.
My shop is new and i do not know if the payment was working before, i just started advertising 2 days ago and i am afraid customers might not be able to make purchases.

Right, thank you. I presume your credit card is working elsewhere? Do you have the password page disabled? Are there any abandoned checkouts appearing from real customers? And can you also please tell me what country you are based in?
