Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hello how are you doing I got charged $54.33 and I don’t know why I was charged I was wondering if you could let me know why I was charged.
Thank you for reaching out about this. Was this a charge on a billing statement for your Shopify store? Or was this a completely unknown charge that showed up on your credit card/bank statement that just happened to say Shopify?
If this is a completely unknown charge and you do not have a Shopify store connected to your account then you will want to contact your bank to cancel the card and report a fraudulent charge. If the card is connected to any Shopify stores, the fraudulent charge/stolen card flag that the bank will issue will automatically disable the card from further use and block the store it was connected to.
If you do own a Shopify store (now, or in the past) and aren't sure what the charge was related to, then I would recommend reaching out to our live support for additional help. They will be able to assist you in tracing the charge to the appropriate app or service.
