Why won't Shopify verify my ID and how can I resolve this?

Shopify is refusing to verify my ID , I’ve contacted customer service multiple times and I am repeatedly told they will get back to me but it’s been more than a week and no show. What can I do to solve this problem?

I appreciate your eagerness to get this resolved. We do not have exact timelines for how long it will take to verify your ID so that you can use Shopify Payments. It's fundamental that we perform our due diligence when onboarding people onto our platform, so I can assure you it is not a question of Shopify refusing to verify your ID, but of us following all appropriate steps and working with third parties to ensure it is done correctly.

If you've already contacted support, then please keep an eye on your email for updates in relation to this.
