I deactivated my store Sunday March 27 at 11pm and I need to know if I will be charged the monthly bill after.. I wasn't able to remove my card info when I tried to deactivate the account before the 14 day trial ended. Please help I can't afford to pay a bill for a service that I won't even be using. The last thing a read was the page where it said I can pickup where I left off in my shop with my plan pre selected and card details saying I will billed on April 5th 2022.. please help !

Hey, @DixieZ4! Welcome to Shopify Community!

You don't need to worry about getting charged for the store since it's already deactivated. If a store is deactivated before the trial ends, no invoice will be generated and your credit card will not be used.

To confirm that your store is indeed deactivated and closed, you can check your inbox for an email confirming the deactivation. Alternatively, you can try logging in to your store. If you are prompted to pick a plan, that means you don't have a running subscription and your store is closed. If you leave it as is and you don't select a plan and your store will be kept closed and you will not be charged. If you're able to access your admin when you log in, that means your store is active and you need to follow the steps on this page to deactivate the store.

Should you decide to continue with your store in the future, you can simply log in and select a plan to reactivate the store. Your store's information is guaranteed for two years.
