Accepting credit cards, warehouses, and shipping and fulfilling orders
Hello! I am trying to determine if my Shopify store will accept the GPC. My primary customers will be government agencies and this will be critical. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

This is an accepted solution.
Yes, Shopify does accept the GPC (Government Procurement Card) as a payment method on its platform. This means that if you have a Shopify store, your government agency customers should be able to use their GPC cards to make purchases from your store.
To accept GPC payments on your Shopify store, you will need to set up a payment gateway that supports GPC transactions. Some options that you might consider include:
Each of these payment gateways offers GPC support, so you can choose the one that best fits your needs. You will need to sign up for an account with the chosen payment gateway and then follow their instructions to set it up on your Shopify store.
It's important to note that in order to accept GPC payments, you will need to be registered as an approved vendor with the government agency that is making the purchase. This is a separate process from setting up your payment gateway, and you should contact the agency directly for more information on how to become an approved vendor.
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to ask.

Fantastic! Thank you for the detailed information and quick response.
It was my pleasure to assist you !
To clarify, I currently utilize Shopify Payments which will not accept the GPC - is this correct? In order to accept the GPC I will need to switch to a third-party provider?
@MichaelGier I checked articles from Shopify and I could not find anything on GPC support with Payments. Our fellow community member @ThiagoColares can help here. ThiagoColares can you please confirm the above?
