Will Shopify return the one time mandate amount?

Hi,

Shopify asks for a one time mandate amount of ₹5000 when I try to extend my free trial for ₹20. I want to know if Shopify will return my one time mandate amount after it has gained permission to charge up to that mandate amount automatically. Thank you for reading.

Shopify charges subscriptions on a monthly, or annual basis. As ₹5000 is roughly $60 USD, depending on your region, this could be the correct monthly charge. If so, this would not be returned to you, and you would be charged monthly.
