The mileage for distance from shop is throwing off customers because it states an incorrect number. Mine should show 2 miles, max. I've tried incognito browsers. My husbands computer shows 8,000 miles away, even when we're on the same wifi. Shopify support has been unable to help thus far.. hoping someone else has seen this and can tell me if the error is on my end somewhere.
I'm having this exact same issue, my business partner who is in another part of the country has tried and we both get the same results. He is based at the location we have set and still it says 50miles away.
This is causing us issues as some customers are put off when they see the distance far away.
Can someone please help to resolve this.
They didn't have any answers, but I do think it was related more to our IP than the website. I think it had cached a couple of my shipping tests where I put in another address. It eventually resolved itself, but I dont have any solutions. 😕
