Wrong name in provide ID section

For some reason when it says 'To continue accepting payments, you need to submit some additional details about your business'. It has the name of 'Hayden Thompson' which is not me. That name is not connected to my account and the ID I provide is unaccepted. I've given my drivers licence and a council bill

Hi, @Ninjesuz!

Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.

It sounds like you are looking to verify your business in order to continue accepting payments. You may need to head over to your profile and update the details to ensure that your name is listed.

Here are the steps to do so:

  • Log in to your store as the store owner.
  • From your Shopify admin, click your username and account picture.
  • Click Manage account.
  • Under General, and Details, use your first and last name as they appear on your government-issued ID.
  • Click Save.
  • Then, you will need to resubmit the documents to our team.

If this issue persists,  we’ll need to access your account in order to gather more information. While we’re not able to provide account-specific support via Community Forums at this time, we’d be happy to continue assisting you through live chat, email, or callback. Please visit our Help Center and log in to your account to create a support request.
