how can I remove the "your order is on the way" phrase and information from my customer checkout portal? The orders are on a shipment schedule and it is confusing to our customers to see this phrase - how can I change the copy?

Not sure why you call it portal, the screenshot looks like a Shopify's email template? If so, just go to https://<your store>.myshopify.com/admin/email_templates/shipping_confirmation/edit and you'll see the copies you can adjust to your liking.

@Visely-Team is correct! You can edit this by going to Settings > Notifications > Shipping confirmation. On this page, you'll see the HTML for your notification where you can make changes and preview how those changes would look. In your case, I would recommend removing this entire If section to remove this part of the notification.

 

 

Are you looking to replace the text with anything, or just remove it? If you would like to remove this section of the notification altogether, your notifications will look like this:

 

 

If you would prefer to replace the tet with something else, instead of deleting this section of code, you can simply adjust the wording in the notification HTML. I'd love to hear more about your unique shipping strategy. What kind of products are you shipping and what is your shipping schedule?

Hi,

why can't shopify just send out this email when then order is really on its way, i.e. when the tracking number is added to the order? That would make way more sense. The user gets an E-Mail with his order confirmation anyway. So there is no need to send him the order sent e-mail immediately.
