How to preselect variant present in the cart page?

Hi 

 

I have added an option to update the variant present in the cart from the cart page itself but when I access the quickview for updating the variant it shows the first variant selected.

Below I have attached screenshots for the same, where 13 varaint is present in cart but 3 is selected when quickview is accessed.

Can anyone help me on preselecting same variant on the quickview as well.
